Overview
POAP is a curated ecosystem for the preservation of memories. We provide a platform designed to create, mint, and activate precious digital collectibles on the blockchain for people around the world.
In order for the collectibles to be precious, they must be issued for a good reason, created with intention, and distributed with care. POAP provides curation as a service to the whole ecosystem, to ensure that from one creator to another, POAP collectors can maintain consistent expectations.
The POAP API is provided by POAP to help developers integrate POAP into their own applications.
What can you do with the POAP API?
The POAP API provides utilities to help developers do the following:
- Whitelist users based on POAPs they have
- Display POAPs in their platform, as part of the information provided about a user or otherwise
- Mint POAPs for users when they meet certain criteria
- Create POAPs for distribution via their platform
All POAPs created via the POAP API will be subject to POAP Curation Guidelines.
